Amy Hoch Altwegg has been named executive director of Clay Center Presbyterian Manor. Her first day will be February 16.

Desi Flerlage has been named executive director at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor. She will assume the role January 10.

Emily Trask has been appointed as the new executive director of Newton Presbyterian Manor. Trask has served as human resource director at the Newton senior living community since October 2017.

Starting a new job in the middle of a pandemic is a challenge, but registered nurse Ashli Shain knows she’s in the right place. “We have such an amazing team here. Everyone is willing to help each other and make sure the residents and families are taken care of,” said Ashley, who began working at Presbyterian Manor this fall. “I am proud to be a part of it.”

Michelle Winder has spent half her life as a nurse at Topeka Presbyterian Manor, which “just sounds crazy,” she admits. “But the residents stole my heart, and here I am. I can’t imagine being in a different field of nursing.”
