SUMMARY:Art is Ageless Exhibit at Newton Presbyterian Manor
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the works of local artists during Newton Presbyterian Manor’s annual Art is Ageless® exhibit. \nThe exhibit will feature entries from area artists who are 65 years or older.\nIt will be open daily March 6 -18\, 2025\,  from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the community’s West Link of Garden Apartments (use entrance West of Chapel). \nThe public is welcome to view the exhibit of acrylics\, oils\, photography and various other mediums\, ranging from amateur to professional levels. The exhibit is part of the annual Art is Ageless juried competition.  Winning pieces at the community level move on to a masterpiece level judging to determine which pieces will be featured in the 2026 Art is Ageless calendar and note cards.\nLocal competition winners will be featured on Newton Presbyterian Manor’s Facebook page and the Art is Ageless website. \nEntries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is aged 65 or older until 5 p.m. on February 27\, 2025.  Entries must be delivered to Newton Presbyterian Manor\, 1200 East 7th St\, Newton\, KS 67114. \nFor more information about the exhibit and how to enter\, contact Sarah Schmitt at 316-283-5400 or by email at sschmitt@pmma.org.

We’ll study the three ships in these disasters: Titanic\, Lusitania\, and Andrea Doria \nGuest Speaker: \nPaul Post is a native Kansan and received a bachelor’s in history from KSU and a law degree from KU Law School in 1974. Now retired from the practice of law\, he is a member of the Shawnee County Historical Society and an amateur beekeeper.
