SUMMARY:2026 Art is Ageless Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the works of local artists during Topeka Presbyterian Manor’s annual Art is Ageless® exhibit. \nThe exhibit will feature entries from area artists who are 65 years or older. It will be open April 6-9\, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the library at  Topeka Presbyterian Manor\, 4712 SW 6th Avenue in Topeka\, Kan. \nThe exhibit will include acrylics\, oils\, photography and various other mediums\, ranging from amateur to professional levels. The exhibit is part of the annual Art is Ageless juried competition.  Winning pieces at the community level move on to a masterpiece level judging to determine which pieces will be featured in the 2027 Art is Ageless calendar and note cards. \nEntries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is aged 65 or older until  5 p.m. on March 31\, 2026.  Entries must be delivered to Topeka Presbyterian Manor. \nA reception will be held on April 9 from 2-3 p.m. in the Independent Living Dining Room. \nFor more information about the exhibit and how to enter\, contact Carol Maynard at 785-272-6510 or camaynard@pmma.org \n

DESCRIPTION:Grab your clubs and tee up for a day of golf that gives back. \nOur annual Golfin’ for Good Sam tournament returns to Winfield Country Club this year with another chance to help seniors right in Cowley County. \nAll proceeds from the tournament benefits PMMA’s Good Samaritan Program\, which provides financial support for local Presbyterian Manor seniors who have outlived their financial resources at no fault of their own. \nGolfin’ for Good Sam 2026\nSaturday\, May 2\, 2026\nWinfield Country Club\n2916 Country Club Rd\, Winfield\, KS 67156 \n7:30 – 9 a.m.: Check-in and registration\n9:15 a.m.: Karl and Dorothy Faidley Memorial Golf Ball Drop\n9:30 a.m.: Tee Off\n11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Lunch served at the turn \nThe tournament is a four-player scramble with a $150 registration fee per player which includes green fees\, cart\, two drink tickets\, two mulligans\, one putt in the putting contest\, and lunch. \nClick here to register or buy your ball drop tickets.\n \nOne of the tournament’s most popular traditions is the Karl & Dorothy Faidley Golf Ball Drop who were big supporters of the community and the tournament. \nParticipants can purchase $10 ball drop tickets – representing numbered golf balls that will be dropped from a bucket truck above. The three golf balls landing closest to the stake win a prize. The ball drop is a chance to participate in the event\, even if you’re not a golfer.
