SUMMARY:2026 Art is Ageless Exhibit at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the works of local artists during Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor’s annual Art is Ageless® exhibit. \nThe exhibit will feature entries from area artists who are 65 years or older.\nIt will be open March 23 – 27\, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Club Room at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor\, 1711 N. 4th St. in Arkansas City\, Kan. \nThe exhibit will include acrylics\, oils\, photography and various other mediums\, ranging from amateur to professional levels. The exhibit is part of the annual Art is Ageless juried competition.  Winning pieces at the community level move on to a masterpiece level judging to determine which pieces will be featured in the 2027 Art is Ageless calendar and note cards.\nLocal competition winners will be featured on Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor Facebook page and the Art is Ageless website. \nEntries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is aged 65 or older until  March 20.  Entries must be delivered to Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor. \nFor more information about the exhibit and how to enter\, contact Brandi Barrett at 620-442-8700 or bbarrett@pmma.org.

DESCRIPTION:Tee-off with Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor and make a difference in a senior’s life! \nOur annual Golfin’ for Good Sam tournament returns this year. All proceeds from the tournament benefits PMMA’s Good Samaritan Program\, which provides financial support for local Presbyterian Manor seniors who have outlived their financial resources at no fault of their own. \nGolfin’ for Good Sam 2025\nSaturday\, May 3\, 2025\nArk City Golf and Fitness\, 8731 US-166 in Arkansas City.\nRegistration begins at 7:30 through 9 a.m.\nTee-off is at 9:30 a.m. \nClick here to register or buy your ball drop tickets\, or to become a sponsor.\nOne of the tournament’s most popular traditions is the Karl & Dorothy Faidley Golf Ball Drop who were big supporters of the community and the tournament. Participants can purchase $10 ball drop tickets – representing numbered golf balls that will be dropped from a bucket truck above. The three golf balls landing closest to the stake win a prize. The ball drop is a chance to participate in the event\, even if you’re not a golfer. You don’t have to be present to win. \nKarl & Dorothy Faidley Golf Ball Drop\n$10 per ball\nDrop is at 9:15 a.m.\, before the tournament begins. \nThe tournament is a four-player scramble with a $100 registration fee per player which includes green fees\, cart\, and lunch. \nClick here to register or buy your ball drop tickets\, or to become a sponsor.
