DESCRIPTION:From famous film scores to classical cello\, to The Beatles\, this fall’s Osher Series at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor features a musical journey. \nThanks to an ongoing partnership with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Kansas\, residents and friends of Lawrence Presbyterian Manor have the opportunity to learn about three legendary musicians in this fall’s series Exploring Musical Genius: Three Composers. \nThe first two event were scheduled for September 16 and September 23. They featured John Williams\, a composer\, conductor\, and pianist whose work is featured in many of the most successful Hollywood movies\, including Star Wars\, Jaws\, and Home Alone and world-renowned cellist\, and conductor YoYo Ma. \nComing up: \nSeptember 30\, 2-4 p.m.\nPaul McCartney \nSir Paul McCartney needs no introduction.
