On behalf of residents, I would like to thank the environmental services department with director Steve Casper, the housekeeping staff with supervisor Vicki DeWitt, and the food services staff with director Denise Geist. Most importantly, we thank the nurses in health care and assisted living who help us stay healthy. We must not forget Karen Sturchio, executive director, and the office staff who make a lot of decisions for us. Most of all, I ask for your participation. Linda Arbuckle- Ross and Cathy Maxfield, health care activities assistants, have people doing physical and mental activities. Activities Director Amy Myers and Cindy Lyon, activities assistant, are not expendable. If you have not yet, I am sure they would appreciate your participation in the wonderful activities they have planned. We have mystery trips, birthday lunches, special events, chaplain programs, etc., and are very fortunate. Please check your calendars for these wonderful events. I would like to see a full bus for every trip. If you have not yet gone on a trip, please consider it. Thank you to the volunteers who make activities easier to attend. I would like to thank our beauticians who make us look our best, and the physical therapists who keep our bodies moving. A final reminder: The staff is hired for a service, but the love and generosity they give us is a bonus.
