Several residents have expressed an interest in sharing their talents with others.

Resident Doris Sprecher recently shared her talent for beading bracelets and necklaces by offering them for sale at very reasonable prices.

“These necklaces are gorgeous,” said resident Margaret Didion. Doris began beading when a friend who showed her how to crochet beads just before she retired in 1979. She has been beading ever since. Doris gets many ideas from beading magazines. The designs and colors are unique and creative. Doris has agreed to teach a beading class if enough people are interested in doing this fun activity.

We will feature resident Kathryn Shadid’s creative crafts in the east room Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. in the east room.

Please feel free to come by and look at the variety of beautiful creations that will be offered for sale: crocheted lap and baby afghans, cushions, doilies, candle wick pillows, etc.

If you have a crafty talent you would like to share, please contact Amy Myers, activities director, and she will be more than happy to assist you.
