Jurists for this year’s Sterling show were Dr. David Cook, of the Sterling College Art Department, William Morse of Sterling College and Diane Bender, former art instructor at Sterling Grade School. Slides will be made of Sterling’s first-place entries and submitted to Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America for a system-wide competition that will also determine whose work is included in the 2007 Art is Ageless Calendar and cards. Results of that selection process are expected around Sept. 25. Calendars and cards should be printed and distributed in early November, said the Sterling Manor’s Marketing Director Sadie Goodwin.
