Christmas celebrations planned

Manor residents are ready to celebrate the Christmas season.

Residents will kick off the festivities by hosting a lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5. Residents will treat staff members and their families to snacks, caroling and a visit from Santa Claus.

The next event at the Manor also will welcome family members. Because of the renovation in the health care center, residents and family members will celebrate with a Christmas party in the main dining room of the Manor. It will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9. Residents will enjoy old fashioned treats and “down home” Christmas music by a surprise vocalist. So put on your party best and join us on Dec. 9 at 3 p.m. in the main dining room.

As we enjoy the refreshments and entertainment, there will be plenty of time for residents and guests to mingle.

Residents from other neighborhoods are invited to attend a Christmas dinner party on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Guests will be dining to the music of harp and classical guitar provided by volunteers Dana Sams and Glen Rorer. Each resident may invite two guests so that everyone can be seated in the main dining room to enjoy fine dining and entertainment.

Residents may exchange their noon meal for the dinner, but please make reservations at the front desk. Be sure to look for fliers with more information.

We wish everyone a happy holiday season and look forward to these exciting events.
