 Home | Recent News | Parsons | Generous Donation 09 Feb 2006 Generous donation benefits residentsThanks to Jim and Julia Beckwith and the Manor Advisory Committee, residents now have new, large print hymnals for the Jessie Holcomb Gehman Chapel. The suggestion of large print hymnals had been made by members of the clergy, volunteers and residents who use the hymnals for church services and other special events. The Manor’s Advisory Committee researched and chose the hymnals, and the Beckwiths generously volunteered to pay for the books. We now have a full complement of hymnals that are all matching, are in large print, and that have many of the “old favorite” hymns. Thank you to everyone on the Manor’s Advisory Committee for your work, and thank you to Jim and Julia Beckwith for your generosity. Jim Beckwith is a member of the Manor’s Advisory Board, and Julia is a resident at our Health Care Center.
