Phase I remodeling details are coming to completion. The nearly finished project represents a culture change, thanks to a formal dining area with a blend of elegance and homelike touches. Seifert reports that residents and staff have been extremely gracious and accommodating during the remodeling process, even though many changes to our normal daily routines have been required. There also are plans to remodel the nursing station into a “Central Park” theme. This project is expected to be complete in three weeks. The bulk of that work will require mostly demolition and electrical rerouting, as well as the mural painting by our very own employeeartist, Sara Stamps.
