Activities will include a rock-climbing wall, obstacle course, bungee run, moonwalk, booth games with prizes, and a dunk tank. Our pie bake-off will be judged, smoked meats and other taste treats will be available, and entertainment will abound.
New this year is a concert that will begin at 8 p.m. in the Parsons Municipal Auditorium. Entertainers Clint Walker, Rodney Lay and the Wild West, and Kaileigh Bullard will perform a benefit concert.
A drawing for a big-screen television will be held during the intermission. Tickets for the drawing are available by calling the Manor at (620) 421-1450.
Advance concert tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for children. They can be purchased by calling the Municipal Auditorium at (620) 421-7032. At the door, they will be $15 for adults and $12 for kids.
All proceeds from the carnival, concert and drawing will benefit the Manor’s Good Samaritan Program, a fund that provides for the care of residents who have outlived their personal financial resources. Please plan to attend these great fundraising events, and encourage your friends to come along.
