Manor awards Employee of the Year

Alma Westbrook has been selected as the Manor’s Employee of the Year.

Alma has been with the Manor since June 2002. She is a certified nurse aide.

“I appreciate this honor bestowed upon me by the Manor staff and I enjoy being in a place where the focus is on service,” said Alma.

Alma is a wife and mother to three children, ages 20, 16 and 13. Her hobbies include needlework, ceramics, reading, roller skating and playing the piano. Alma also does volunteer work at her church.

“Alma is an extraordinary person. She always has a smile and will go out of her way to help anyone — residents, staff and families. Actually, words cannot describe just what Alma means to our community. She is God’s gift to the Manor,” said Nancy Freeman, director of Nursing.
