Residents attend Senior Prom event

The Manor hosted a Senior Prom on Sunday, May 7, at 2:30 p.m. for all residents to enjoy.

We had special entertainment by the Red Hat Society, as well as a special fashion show from volunteers who attend our local high school.

This year’s theme is “As time goes by.” The theme’s purpose is to allow us reflect on how the Manor, staff and residents have changed throughout the years.

We also reflected on changes that have happened within the community throughout the years.

The highlight, of course, was the crowning of the Senior Prom king and queen. Residents, both from assisted living and the health care center, had an opportunity to vote for the king and queen.

Quite a few of the ladies at the Manor were excited to wear their beautiful dresses that they hadn’t yet had an opportunity to wear. There was a lot of preparation to make this afternoon a big hit, ranging from decorations and refreshments to pampering our ladies for their big day. Thank you to everyone who participated in this exciting event.
