Presbyterian Manor’s Art is Ageless competition is spinning into high gear again this year. Resident Betty Bedford enjoys the "play in the clay day" as she begins to work her clay for later sculpting.

Kemna’s demonstration and motivational techniques inspired residents to begin or finalize their pieces of artwork for this year’s Art is Ageless competition. Fulton residents were instructed on the tools and paraphernalia used everyday and how they can assist to create beautiful masterpieces.

Kemna’s pottery pieces have been shipped to almost every state in the United States. Kemna has spent time sharing her pottery knowledge with others. She has been visiting Presbyterian Manors in Missouri and Kansas demonstrating her talents, teaching others, and showing her best pieces of work.

Kemna’s experiences and artwork coincide with Presbyterian Manor’s 28th Annual Art is Ageless competition that is currently underway. The competition includes local juried exhibits throughout Missouri and Kansas and is open to all community artists age 65 and older. Please contact Megan Means at 573-642-6646 for more information.
