Professional artist to hold beginner’s painting workshop for the public

Fort Scott, Kan. -- Professional artist Gary Hawk will be back by popular demand to Fort Scott Presbyterian Village for another “Beginner’s Watercolor Painting” class. This hands-on workshop is open to the public on Monday, Sept. 14, at 5:30 p.m. on the lowest level of Presbyterian Village, 2401 S. Horton. All ages are welcome, and children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Interested participants are required to sign up in advance by calling 620-223-5550 or by e-mailing . The fee for the workshop is $35 each, which includes all supplies needed. Seating is limited, so be sure to sign up early.
