A night on the town

September 1, 2005

Who doesn’t like going out to eat? In September, residents at the Village enjoyed an outing to a restaurant called The Brick Town.

The restaurant is located in an old building in Pittsburg, Kan., which is a 25-minute drive from Fort Scott.

The atmosphere is calming, thanks to jazz music playing in the background. Better yet, the food is absolutely wonderful.

The menu ranges from steaks to hamburgers to seafood, and the prices are reasonable. The residents who went had a wonderful time. It was also nice to get out on a beautiful Fall evening and take a drive.
