Entertainment abounds at the Village

Recent News

The Fort Scott High School Jazz Ensemble entertains tenants during the Christmas season.

From parties to dining, residents enjoy quality activities together

Nearly every week at the Village there is good entertainment, a birthday party or some other fun event happening.

In one week alone, residents enjoyed a large party, ventured out to see the holiday lights and spent an evening dining at a local restaurant.

At the Village, there is always something going on, including special musical performances, worship opportunities, exercise classes and informal gatherings. The Village has a number of volunteer committees as well. There are many ways to become involved.

From planned to impromptu, social to educational, residents find there's entertainment to enrich their mind, body and spirit.

The activity committee meets once a month to plan the activities calendar for the next month. It is always fun to brainstorm and come up with interesting ideas. The members of the activity committee are both independent and assisted living residents. This committee works hard to make the activities calendar enjoyable for everyone. The committee members always appreciate any ideas anyone might have, so please don't be shy to share your ideas.
