 Home | Recent News | Fort Scott | 2007 Call for Entries 15 Jul 2007 Fort Scott Prepares for Art is Ageless, Call for Entries announcedWe are pleased to announce commencement of preparations for the 2007 Art is Ageless 27th Juried Exhibit. The Art is Ageless Exhibit and preliminary judging will be here at Presbyterian Village, Fort Scott, Kans. Artists age 65 and up, from throughout the Presbyterian Village service area, are invited to participate in the exhibit and competition. For those who wish to enter their work for the 27th Art is Ageless competition, an entry form and rules are attached. Please read these carefully for deadlines and contest rules. Artists have the option of joining the exhibit without competing in the juried portion of the show.
Your artwork and entry form must be received in the Activity office at the Presbyterian Vilage by July 13th. Judging will be held August 1, 2007. We will host the exhibit from July16 to July 31,2007. An artists’ reception and awards will be held July19,2007 at 6:00 p.m. Judges will be awarded first, second and third place in each category as applicable. The first place works will be photographed for slides to send to the home office for judging to select works for the 2008 calendar and cards. Systemwide winners will be selected by the judges from the slides presented, and winning works will be forwarded to the Home Office to arrive by September 25. Calendars and cards should be printed and distributed in early November.
