Home | Recent News | Farmington | Spooktacular Fun 20 Oct 2006 Spooktacular FunFor the fifth year, students in the Farmington PAGES program decorated Halloween cookies and colored pumpkins with assisted living residents at Presbyterian Manor as one of their service projects. 101-year-old Willard James told students Baylee Botkin and Sophi Thurman how on Halloween in years past, kids played pranks like soaping store windows, turning over privies (outhouses) and taking the wheels off wagons or buggies and putting the wheels on top of barns or telephone poles. New Resident Thelma Adams spent time with student Brenna Dickey and the table of second graders Alex England, Max Kleppe, Zachary Compton and Ben Sitzes got to know resident Dick Smith. At the end of the morning, tummies were full and imaginations were stirring.
