Presbyterian Manor-Farmington’s fundraising dinner and silent auction was a huge success, bringing in $15,189 after expenses. Around 500 dinners were served on March 26 at the Presbyterian Church. In conjunction with the chicken and dumplings dinner, a silent auction of 45 items included paintings, quilts and event tickets. All proceeds of the fundraiser benefts the Manor’s Good Samaritan Fund, which provides assistance to Manor residents who have outlived their financial resources. “I am very pleased with the results of this fundraiser,” said Jane Hull, executive director of Presbyterian Manor – Farmington. “I wold like to thank the staff, advisory committee, residents and their family members for their generosity and tremendous efforts. It was such an enjoyable evening for everyone.”
