Presbyterian Manor call for entries in 28th Anniversary Art is Ageless juried exhibit

Presbyterian Manor has issued a call for entries in its 28th annual Art is Ageless juried exhibit to be held in August during Artists’ Appreciation Month. Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or older to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 2009 Art is Ageless calendar.

“We are looking forward to the exhibit as it is always a treat to see what the artist in the area have been working on,” said Alison Sheets, marketing director. “Each year we have seen the exhibit grow and become more inclusive of artists throughout our area and are expecting this to be the best year yet for creativity and variety of works on exhibit.”

Entry forms and information can be picked up at Presbyterian Manor, 500 Cayce Street in Farmington or by contacting Alison Sheets at 573-756-6768. Artists need to have been age 65 or older when the work was created and works need to have been completed in the past five years (since January 2003). There are seven categories for works, and up to three entries may be made by a single artist with no more than two entries in a single category. Works to be entered for judging need to be at Presbyterian Manor by Friday, July 25, 2008. Artists also may choose to enter the exhibit only.
