The rain stopped and the clouds parted just in time for the annual independent living barbeque. The residents of the Presbyterian Manor community enjoyed a lovely setting under the shaded pavilion at Dean Daniley Park in Farmington, Missouri. Fifteen residents from the cottages, apartments and duplexes joined staff for fellowship and fun. The tasty meal was prepared by Amy McClure, Director of Food Service, Sandi Brooks, Director of Nurses and Larry Hastings, Director of Environmental Services. The activities department decorated the tables with a festive red white and blue theme. | | | (L to R) Pat Allen, Mary Keay, Lorene Porter, Sally Lorch, Eva St.

It was a great chance to welcome our newest residents Eva St. Clair and Lorene Porter. Both ladies moved into one bedroom apartments on Westmoor Street last month. The group of neighbors caught up on children, grand children and recent summer vacations. They are looking forward to their next get together at the monthly Cottage Club Luncheon. Held the fourth Tuesday of each month this adventurous group rides the Presbyterian Manor van to a restaurant of their choosing. Out of town restaurants are a popular destination too. Add on a shopping trip in St. Louis, visiting the conservation center in Cape Girardeau or an ice cream cone stop in historic Ste. Genevieve this bunch has done it all.
