Residents welcomed Halloween by decorating pumpkins. Jones Health Care Center residents added plastic pieces to pumpkins to create a witch and goblin. These were added to other Halloween decorations giving the health care center a festive feeling. | | | Residents Juanita Love and Lucille King, foreground, work together decorating a pumpkin. |
During our annual Halloween party, staff, residents and family members showed off their costumes. Kathy Salts’ Corner members made pumpkin favors for everyone at the party. We enjoyed sharing memories and visiting with the children during the party. Halloween day culminated with a trick or treat celebration for Manor family members. More than 50 children paraded through all three dining rooms collecting candy from residents. All the children left with full bags of treats. Thank you to everyone who donated candy for the trick or treat celebration. Thanks also to everyone who helped make our Halloween parties a success.
