 Home | Recent News | Dodge City | Generous Gift | Printme 01 Jan 2006 Activities program receives generous giftJanuary 1, 2005 Our sewing group has received two wonderful gifts from Joleen Fromm, one of our residents that recently moved to the Manor. She was going through her items in her home and donated two sewing machines to our sewing group. We continue to make quilts and crochet for different organizations that we donate our items to. The machines will help us put together more squares for our quilts. One of them is a Singer and the other is a Necchi, and both are in wonderful condition. Joleen took very good care of these machines and we even found her sales receipt. The Singer was purchased in 1958, and the Necchi was purchased in 1982. Joleen also donated games for the residents to enjoy.
