On-site services contribute to wellness, staying active

Prevention is an important part of staying healthy and active at any age. We will walk nearly 100,000 miles in our lifetime. To enjoy being on our feet, having healthy feet is important, but often neglected. Residents stay on their feet and active with podiatry services each month. Podiatrist Dr. Chris Surtman visits the Manor campus to help residents care for their feet.

Dr. Surtman can help with anything from clipping toenails to helping assess feet for futures issues that may inhibit activity. There usually a full day of appointments for Dr. Surtman as residents take advantage of having him visit the campus. In addition, he makes personal visits to each resident apartment to make each consultation more personalized.
