 Home | Recent News | Arkansas City | School Bond Election 01 Jan 2008 School bond election presentation and voter registration hostedPresbyterian Manor hosted an informational presentation on Wednesday, January 31, at 7 p.m., to provide information to the community about the upcoming school bond election. Attendees could also register to vote and learn more about the mail-in ballot system which will be a vital part of this year’s election. The presentation was given by John Sturd, Chairperson of the Citizen Committee for the Bond Issue. Mr. Sturd presented information about the school bond issue and how the money will be allocated into different projects throughout the school district. The school bond election is scheduled for March 4, 2008. He also explained the mail-in ballots and what voters need to be aware of as the ballots will be mailed beginning the middle of February The presentation was open to the greater community and was also welcomed by Presbyterian Manor residents to have the opportunity to hear about the mail ballot election and update their voter registration.
