Family dinner, cookie exchange planned

The Manor’s holiday dinner for residents and family will take place Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. The food services department always puts on a feast for residents and their guests and this year will be no exception. Reservations are required.

Please check the holiday calendar for all the other activities happening during December. It’s always a fun time to be living at the Manor.

The Manor’s first Gingerbread House Contest and Mrs. Claus Cookie Exchange will be Dec. 14. The Gingerbread House Contest is open to residents and community members of all ages. The gingerbread houses will be on display at the Manor beginning Dec. 11. The judging of the gingerbread houses will take place at 2:30 p.m. in the Club Room. Prizes will be given in the following categories: ages 10 through 18, 19 through 50, and 51 through 101.

The cookie exchange is an opportunity to trade a cookie for a cookie. Bring two dozen of your favorite cookies and leave with an assortment of cookies for the holidays.
