chose themes to decorate their trees in the hopes that theirs would get the most entries for the drawing which was held during the Christmas Tree Lane reception the end of the week. Themes ranged from Patriotic to Spiritual,K-State to ice Cream, the trees elicited many comments from visitors to the Village. Tickets to enter a drawing for a favorite tree or two, were available at the front desk for a suggested donation.

A reception was held to draw the names of those who would be taking one of the beautiful trees. Nearly two dozen trees were on display. All proceeds went to the Good Samaritan Fund. The Good Samaritan Fund makes it possible for Aberdeen residents who have outlived their financial resources to continue to live at the Village.
