Christmas activities at the Village

Christmas Tree Lane is now on view at the Village. Christmas trees have been generously decorated and donated to the Manor from sponsors such as Hospice Care of Kansas and the Village Church. Christmas Tree Lane will be on display from Dec. 4 through 8.

Visitors to Christmas Tree Lane can buy tickets for a chance to win a tree. All proceeds will benefit the Good Samaritan Fund.

Independent living residents are invited to a Christmas party on Dec. 15. The party will begin at 4:30 p.m., and dinner will follow at 5:30 p.m. This year’s menu will feature a garden medley salad with cabernet honey lime dressing, angus prime rib and lobster tails, baked sweet potatoes, rustic blanched vegetables and a basket of gourmet breads. Dessert will be raspberry cheese cake drizzled with rum fondue sauce.

Assisted living and health care center residents are invited to holiday parties on Dec. 21 at 3:30 p.m. for all neighborhoods except Whispering Meadows, which will have its party at 2 p.m. Activities scheduled for December include the Grace Convenent Children’s Choir, Sweet Adeline’s Quartet and Christmas lights tour.
