Fort Scott Presbyterian Village kicks off the holidays with a “Tour of the Trees” Night Presbyterian Village will host a special holiday “Tour of the Trees” night Nov. 30. The village will feature a display of multiple Christmas trees, which can be found throughout the building, each trimmed and beautifully decorated with a different theme. Read More... The women and girls prepared meals and put them in ornately decorated boxes. This event took weeks to plan and several trips into town for decorations and food. Many Hands Make History Together The Presbyterian Village Busy Bee quilting guild participated in a project for the state of Kansas while partnering with the Fort Scott National Historic Site and Eugene Ware’s fourth grade students. The students painted quilt blocks with the guidance of art teacher Russ Gordon.
