Manor hosts Christmas parties This month, the Manor will host its annual Christmas parties. Lloyd bought a book and taught himself how to make violins. Read More... Pie company is highlight of tasty tour On June 22, residents traveled to Washington, Kan., to tour the Marcon Pie Co. The company has been in business for 20 years. It produces around 500 pies daily, and more than 100,000 pies were made last year. Last Thanksgiving,more than 1,700 pies were ordered. Read More... Art is Ageless winners announced Artists 65 and older from throughout the Clay Center community and residents from the Manor were invited to participate in the 26th Art is Ageless calendar contest. On July 27 the works of art were judged and then an open house followed on July 28. The pieces were on display at Central Plains Title from July 29 to Aug. 7. Read More... Stitching and sharing: Manor women show off their quilts January was the warmest on record, so residents and employees took their quilts off of their beds and brought them to share at a couple of special events at the Manor.
