Spiritual Life programs help Manors serve residents of all faiths

Though known as Presbyterian Manors, we serve people of all faiths as part of our mission. A rich spiritual life provides residents a sense of peace, belonging, and fulfillment. In addition, there’s growing evidence to suggest a direct correlation between spiritual and physical well-being. As a faith-based organization, we view spiritual health as an essential aspect of our mission. Charitable funds help support programs and gathering spaces that foster spiritual health and well-being. These include:

  • Chaplaincy Services: Consistent with our mission, all Presbyterian Manor communities employee or recruit volunteer chaplains to serve the spiritual needs of residents, families and staff. We encourage the involvement of clergy and lay volunteers from local denominations.
  • Chapels & Community Rooms: We offer space for worship, quiet meditation and fellowship at all Presbyterian Manor communities. Your support helps us to maintain and improve these areas for the benefit of residents, their families and their friends.
  • Support Services: Residents and their families often face a variety of social and emotional issues, particularly during periods of transition or declining health. To assist with these needs, members of our staff offer specialized support services.
