At Presbyterian Manor, our job is to empower residents to remain as independent as possible and to help them make the most out of daily living — physically, socially and spiritually — despite the effects of declining health. They have choices — whether it’s their noon meal or joining others on an excursion, or even when they want to get up in the morning.
Where your loved one can still be themself
With six levels of care, we are able to adjust care and services to meet residents’ needs as their physical and mental health may change. An initial assessment provides information on each resident’s capabilities and physical health to determine the appropriate level of care and services. Programs may range from exercise to a game of checkers to a picnic in the park. On-site conveniences include hair salon, commons areas for socializing, chapel services, health, social and educational programs, and transportation.
What our families find is that their parents are in qualified hands to provide the care needed for the best possible quality of life. We focus on the details and do our best to ensure that the services and support are provided to make the best of your loved one’s abilities. Our staff receives training through the Alzheimer’s Association to understand and recognize the signs of residents experiencing memory loss. Therapy services are available among other services to assist in maintaining or regaining as much independence as possible.
Short-term or long-term stays
Whether joining us short-term to recuperate from an illness or injury or long-term, we are proud of the reputation we’ve earned for caring about our residents. Care and services are provided based on an individualized plan with nursing services available 24 hours a day. We use the evaluation system required by the State of Missouri and Medicare to measure each resident’s capabilities and physical health to determine the appropriate level of care. Our health care center is Medicare certified for short-term recuperative stays. And we have a full complement of rehabilitation therapy services to assist in recovery. Whatever your perception of a nursing home, we think you’ll find we’re much more than that. We invite you to visit to see our health center and see for yourself.
We’re not the only ones who think our health care is exemplary
What family members find is that their parents are in caring, qualified hands to provide the nursing care and services needed for the best possible quality of life. We hear it so often: “my Mom sure gets good care,” or “we’re so glad Dad is at the Manor.”
We are proud of the fact that our regulatory survey has been deficiency-free for the past year. Only 10% of not-for-profit communities come through the survey, which renews our ability to accept Medicare, with no deficiencies.
Health Care Center Cost
Long-term care policies may cover many of the costs involved. The best way to determine what costs might be involved would be to speak directly with us and schedule an assessment. We can help you understand costs and ensure you are comfortable with every aspect of your decision.
