Every employee is trained to work with our residents with memory loss. Training is provided initially through the Alzheimer's Association with ongoing education and training to keep each employee current in caring for residents with memory loss.

Presbyterian Manors pioneered providing care specially tailored for seniors with Alzheimer’s or dementia in 1986 when they opened the first memory care center in Kansas at Newton Presbyterian Manor. Our memory support center provides you with the peace of mind that your loved one is in an environment that is supportive, challenging and helps them live as you’d want them to live.

Our state licensed memory support center provides the staff support, care, programs and services your loved one needs. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program as we look at your loved one as an individual with their own interests. Our goal is to help them feel comfortable and secure. You can visit anytime and we welcome your joining in activities and programs with your loved one.
